With the Fender Limited Edition Player Series Stratocaster HSSBlack , Fender presents a sonically extremely flexible variant of the famous Strat. Two traditional Alnico 5 single coils in neck and mid positions deliver famously clear single coil tones with an airy feel and present mids, while the Player Series Alnico 2 bridge humbucker provides powerful bridge tones with additional output for rock and metal. Of course, a healthy hardware setup in the form of a synchronized Fender 2-point tremolo, solid die-cast tuners, and classic Fender "F"-stamped neckplate are all part of the Fender Player Series Stratocaster's equipment. This is a beautiful looking instrument and though I paid more for the plus top and Sienna burst I'm delighted with it. The bridge humbucker takes nothing from the tone but provides a substantial boost for soloing with or without distortion. The craftsmanship is superb and on a par with the more expensive American models I've owned in the past. I gave only four stars for sound but a little height adjustment of the middle and neck pickups has cured my misgivings. A great guitar.

Great guitar, stunning quality, pickups are good, only thing is to bear in mind is that for this price it does come direct from warehouse so you might have to do some setup work yourself or get a Tech to do it.
