The basic construction of the FenderLimited Edition Vintera '70s Telecaster PF Lake Placid Blue stays true to the traditional design and is composed of a classic contoured alder Telecaster body and a four-piece maple neck. The latter provides with its vintage "C" profile for the traditional feel of the seventies, while the 21-fret fretboard made of Pau Ferro with its vintage radius of 7.25 inches appeals especially to die-hard fans of classic Teles.
Fender Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele Single Coils
This limited edition Vintera '70s Telecaster uses two Fender Custom Shop "Twisted" Tele single coils wound by the FenderCustomShop in Corona, California. The two pickups are known for their high Output and give any Telecaster a hot rod sound without denying the Telecaster's classic twang and growl. The circuit remains classic and is composed of a blade switch with three switch positions and common volume and tone controls.
Authentic Seventies hardware
The hardware equipment is also based on the Tele recipe of the seventies. The bridge is a 3-saddle Vintage-Style Tele bridge with three steel tail pieces, while six Fender Vintage "F" stamped tuners provide absolute tuning stability. furthermore, the FenderLimited Edition Vintera '70s Telecaster presents a classic three-ply pickguard and a tasteful Lake Placid Blue high-gloss finish.
