Accordingly, Fender relies on an alder body in a classic design and a bolt-on neck made of roasted maple, which has optimum playing conditions with the powerful "Thick Soft V" profile and 9.5" fretboard radius. In terms of sound, the Fender Vintera ''50s Telecaster Modified with twoCustom Shop pickups, 4-way switching and an S-1 pickup proves to be extremely versatile. While the Vintage-Style single-coil on the bridge conjures up the legendary, crisp twang with enormous assertiveness, the "Twisted" Tele single-coil on the neck delivers an enormously fat sound. In addition to the usual pickup combinations, the 4-way blade switch also provides a powerful series connection of the pickups, while the S-1 switch in the volume control can be used to call up slimmed-down out-of-phase sounds. Last but not least, the FENDER Limited Edition Vintera '50s Telecaster Modified RST MN Shell Pink features tuning-stable vintage-style tuners and a 3-saddle American Vintage bridge with string guidance through the body.
