The Fender American Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar Olympic White is the latest version of this timeless classic guitar, now in its seventh decade of continuous production. The guitar features a Rosewood fingerboard on a C shape Maple neck fitted with medium jumbo frets, finished in tinted satin urethane for a smoother feel with a contrasting gloss finished headstock face. Upgraded with a comfortable new contour, the Alder body is finished in limited edition Olympic White.
Fender has installed an American Vintage '58 Single-Coi pickup in the bridge position and in the neck position to satisfy both modern and old school players alike. The No-Load Master Delta Tone knob also offers guitarists to hear the direct, naked tone from the pickups without interference from the usual filtration through the capacitor.
Hardware includes a five-screw mounted brass bridge plate with through body stringing for sonic stability, loaded with improved bent steel saddles with elongated string slots for improved resonance. A modern 9.5” radius neck ensures easy, non-choking bends all the way up the board and the Micro-Tilt neck allows players to make fine adjustments to their action or neck/body angle without removing the neck.
The Fender American Standard Telecaster retains the heritage and tradition of this famous and widely used instrument but sees it upgraded it with modern appointments to satisfy today’s demanding player.
