Noble Custom Shop Jazzmaster
The Fender Limited Edition '59 250K Jazzmaster Journeyman Relic RW Faded Aged Daphne Blue represents a particularly noble interpretation of the famous Jazzmaster, combining classic design elements of 1959 with modernized appointments. Here, traditional hardware parts interact with a detailed Journeyman Relic nitrocellulose Finish and matching gold anodized pickguard to create the particularly tasteful appearance of the offset classic. As a child of the FenderCustom Shop, a Deluxe hardshell case, a signed certificate of authenticity and an additional Custom Shop strap are of course included.
The Fender '59 250K Jazzmaster Journeyman Relic RW Faded Aged Daphne Blue convinces as a noble custom store guitar with first-class playing characteristics and flexible sounds.
The comfortable Riftsawn-Maple neck is connected to the offset body via four screws and a neck plate.
Lightweight ash body & Quarter Sawn Maple Neck
In order to always be in ideal balance when played both on the strap and on the lap, the body of the '59 250K Jazzmaster uses two exceptionally lightweight pieces of alder wood, while the ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer allows the resonance of the body to unfold undisturbed. All dimensions on the back of the Riftsawn Maple neck remain true to the classic specifications of the original Jazzmaster, while the 9.5-inch radius of the "Flat-Lam" rosewood fingerboard provides the perfect Mix of Vintage and modernity for confident chord playing and pleasant bending in the high registers.
Through potentiometers with 250 kOhm DC resistance, the hand-wound Jazzmaster Single Coils deliver warm sounds.
Jazzmaster Single Coils with 250K Pots
Even if the electronic equipment of the '59 250K Jazzmaster may seem classic at first glance, the instrument has a very unique sound character. Volume and tone controls with a DC resistance of 250 kOhm each are used to elicit a comparatively warm and round sound from the two hand-wound single coils with additional treble damping. Of course, the Fender '59 250K Jazzmaster also uses the traditional rhythm and lead circuits, which assign additional sounds and separate controls to the neck pickup as needed.
The headstock of the '59 250K Jazzmaster carries vintage-style tuners for accurate and stable tuning.
RSD J-Bridge and Jazzmaster Tremolo
As a special identifying feature of the model, the famous Jazzmaster tremolo on this Custom Shop version is of course not to be missed. In combination with a RSD J-Bridge, which houses two resonant brass tailpieces, this results in shimmering vibrato sounds, which can be accessed at any time via the extended tremolo lever. Also at the headstock, the instrument exudes classic Fender charm in the form of traditional vintage-style tun ers in the original look and a wing String tree, which increases the contact pressure of the h and e string on the nut.
