The instrument remains true to the classic construction of the early sixties, but presents some successful appointments in terms of features and wood selection.

Roasted Flame maple neck in 3A quality

A special feature of this Custom Shop Telecaster is clearly its neck construction. The neck, which is classically bolted to the two-piece ash body, is made from intensely flamed AAA-quality maple and has undergone a roasting process for additional stability and a darker look. The truss rod was inserted under the matching flat-lam fingerboard, which means that the neck does without the classic skunk stripe. On the other hand, the large C profile made to traditional dimensions ensures the tried-and-tested sixties feel.

Custom Shop Twisted Tele Single Coils with Greasebucket circuit

With two hand-wound Custom Shop Twisted Tele single coils in the neck and bridge positions, the Fender Limited Edition 1960 Telecaster NOS Aged Vintage Blonde knows how to play out all facets of the coveted Tele character, from the distinctive twang to the typical growl at higher gain settings. Thanks to Modern Wiring, both pickups are fully controllable in all switching positions via the controls for Volume and Tone, while the Greasebucket circuit enables controlled Treble roll-offs without any additional bass in the signal.
