Heavy Relic Thinline Telecaster in the style of the Fifties
The Fender Limited Edition 50s Telecaster CustomThinline Heavy Relic Aged Seafoam Green over 3-Color Sunburst #R127096 combines the classic elements of the 50s Telecaster Custom with the Semi-Hollow Thinline construction and the unique Color over Color finish. Heavy relic ageing by the FenderCustom store has given the tonewoods and hardware, particularly authentic ageing and playing marks, giving the electric guitar a distinct character both tonally and visually.
The Thinline construction with long pickguard gives the limited edition Fifties Tele a vintage surf look in combination with the classic Fender Aged Seafoam Green.
Heavy Relic aging makes the Telecaster Thinline Custom look like a real vintage instrument, which can tell stories of the last seventy years through its playing traces.
Traditional construction vise and color-over-color finish.
Following historical specifications, the Telecaster CustomThinline is also quad-bolted in the bolt-on construction vein and is composed of a solid Quarter Sawn Maple neck and an ash body with generous resonance chambers. Accordingly, the tonewoods deliver a nuance of fresh timbre and warm resonance. Furthermore, the neck features a historically correct '57 Style soft-'V' neck profile and a 9.5-inch fingerboard radius over 21 frets. Here, the elaborate Heavy Relic ageing provides the special appearance of the Color-over-Color nitrocellulose finish, which appears in Aged Seafoam Green over a classic 3-Color Sunburst with traces of ageing.
A classic 3-way switch and a volume and tone knob control the output of both '51 Nocaster single coils.
Nocaster Single Coil Pickups
For the sound transformation of the Fender Telecaster CustomThinline two '51 Nocaster single coil pickups from the Custom store in neck and bridge position are responsible, which show typical tonal characteristics of the unofficial "Nocaster" electric guitars of the early fifties. Accordingly, the sound is characterized by Alnico III Pole Pieces particularly balanced, with shimmering twang and soft mids. In addition, treble losses can be largely avoided by the Fat 50s Wiring. Also, the hardware selection of the FenderCustom store is not only high quality, but also historical. Accordingly, all six strings run between a '51-'54 Tele bridge and 6-in-line vintage-style Tuning tuners.
