The Fender Jimmy Page Telecaster (Natural/Dragon) is a 6-string Electric Guitar based upon one of the most famous instruments in Rock n Roll history. This unmistakable Tele not only achieved legendary status through its use on the first Led Zeppelin album and the iconic solo to the classic "Stairway to Heaven", but also through its unique artwork. Especially for fans and collectors, the Jimmy Page Telecaster now offers the look, feel and sound of the original, not least thanks to Jimmy Page Custom Tele single coils in neck and bridge position specially wound for the Jimmy Page Tele. The package includes additional accessories in the form of a red spiral cable and a vintage-style "Stained Glass" Guitar strap.
2-Piece Ash Body & Custom Oval C Neck
Just like the original White Blonde model, the Jimmy Page Telecaster consists of a 2-piece Ash body, sanded down to the wood, with hand-painted artwork and a Maple neck in a Jimmy Page Custom Oval C profile, specially designed for this Telecaster. The 7.25" radius of the 21-flush fingerboard also corresponds to that of the classic Fender instruments of the 1950s.
Custom Tele Single Coil Pick-Ups
For authentic full and powerful Led Zeppelin sounds, the Jimmy Page Telecaster has been equipped with Custom Tele Single Coils specially developed for Jimmy's Signature Sound. The 2x single coils in neck and bridge position are faithfully modelled on the pick-ups of the original and produce moderate output with an unmistakable vintage character. The neck produces warm and well-rounded tones, while the bridge position evokes classic Tele-Twang.
Vintage Hardware & Custom Features
6x traditional vintage-style tuners sit on the headstock, while the Top-Load Tele Bridge can be strung either as a Strings-Thru-Body or in Top-Load manner. Fender adds a vintage-style case, a red spiral cable and a vintage "Stained Glass" strap to the Jimmy Page Telecaster package, while Jimmy's signature adorns both the headstock and the neck-plate.
