FENDER Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Snow White
Artist Signature Thinline Telecaster electric guitar with two Seymour Duncan SP90 soapbars
The Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Snow White from the Fender Artist Series delivers authentic sounds of punk rock. The iconic signature instrument of the Jimmy Eat World frontman is modeled after Jim's modified Fender TC-90 Telecaster and features a semi-hollow ash body and a set maple neck. The slim Modern-C profile and a flat neck heel provide ideal handling of all 22 frets of the Laurel fingerboard. For hot-rodded sounds, two Seymour Duncan SP90 Soapbar Pickups are used, whose wide coil winding produces a powerful sound with that certain amount of bite. In addition, the neck pickup is wound and polarized in reverse, so that the intermediate position of the 3-way switch on the Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline produces particularly juicy double-coil sounds without ambient noise. Last but not least, the Fender JA-90 Telecaster Thinline features solid and resonant hardware in the form of a 6-Saddle Adjusto-Matic bridge, an Anchored Tailpiece and tuning stable Fender tuners in a chrome finish.
Armed with two Seymour Duncan SP90 soapbars and a fixed Adjusto-Matic bridge, the Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline is the perfect companion for creamy punk rock sounds.
