FENDER Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Crimson Red Transparent
Artist Signature Thinline Telecaster electric guitar with two Seymour Duncan SP90 Soapbars
The Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Crimson Red Transparent from the Fender Artist Series delivers authentic punk rock sounds. The iconic signature instrument of the Jimmy Eat World frontman is inspired by Jim's modified Fender TC-90 Telecaster and is composed of a semi-hollow ash body and a glued maple neck. The slim Modern-C profile and a flat neck heel ensure ideal handling of all 22 frets of the Laurel fingerboard. For hot-rodded sounds, two Seymour Duncan SP90 Soapbar pickups are used, with a wide coil winding that produces a powerful sound with a certain amount of bite. In addition, the neck pickup is reverse-wound and polarized, which means that the intermediate position of the 3-way switch elicits particularly rich double-coil sounds from the JA-90 Telecaster Thinline without any ambient noise. Last but not least, the FENDER Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Crimson Red Transparent features solid and resonant hardware in the form of a 6-saddle Adjusto-Matic bridge, an anchored tailpiece and tuning-stable Fender tuners with a chrome finish.
Equipped with two Seymour Duncan SP90 soapbars and a fixed Adjusto-Matic bridge, the Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline is the perfect companion for creamy punk rock sounds.
