Classic P-Bass Construction
For the Fender Classic Series '50s Precision Bass Lacquer, Fender relies on a design that has been tried and tested since 1951, creating the best conditions for a crisp sound. Accordingly, the traditionally styled body is made of alder, while the four-screw, one-piece neck is made of maple. The nitrocellulose finish allows the woods to vibrate freely, so that the electric bass convinces with unhindered sound development. With the powerful "C" profile, which has a saddle width of 44.5 mm, the bass also offers sufficient space for safely grasped tones, even in the case of strong, gripping playing styles.
Authentic Precision Sound thanks to Split Coil Pickup
The electric sound conversion of the Fender Classic Series '50s Precision Bass MN Lacquer White Blonde is done by a Fender Vintage Split Coil in the middle position that promises the legendary Precision sound. Accordingly, the bass amplifier provides an extremely powerful sound image with a rich growl in the low frequencies, which makes every sound in the stomach area perceptible. With the help of the traditional passive circuit, which is recruited from Master Volume and Master Tone, it is possible to create sound colors with a strong character.
Fender American Vintage Hardware
Last but not least, the Fender Classic Series '50s Precision Bass convinces with high-quality hardware equipment in an indestructible vintage style. Accordingly, the classic Fender American Vintage 4-Saddle Bass Bridge is used on the body, which with its four string riders allows optimum adjustment of intonation and string position. From here, the strings are guided with the typical 34" scale (864 mm) towards the headstock, where Fender American Vintage Reverse Open-Gear tuners promise precise and stable tuning.

Fender Classic Series '50s Precision Bass MN Lacquer White Blonde
This bass rocks! It grooves like no other! It can do all sorts of modern stuff or old school heavy stoner rock, grunge, alternative, indie, funk, metal, you name it!
Truly awesome sound from the rather hot pickups, aggressive yet well defined at all times, cuts through ANY mix! Classic P sound in a very very very well crafted instrument. Dont be fooled by the MiM tag, this thing looks and feels like an instrument worth 3-4 times the price! Both the vintage neck tint and the 2 tone sunburst are to die for! Its also on the light side, mine is less than 4kg. The only con I could think of is the width of the neck at the nut. Its indeed quite wide even for a P (~45mm) but it has a nice C profile and feels very comfortable to play, and rather thin front to back. Unless you have small-ish hands I dont think youll find it uncomfortable to play (just for reference Im 1,83m tall and my hand is 20cm measured from the base of the palm to the edge of the middle finger).
All in all, this bass is an amazing value both sound and quality/craftsmanship wise, well worth the price!! Get one yourself, now!
