The Classic Player Baja Fender Telecaster was developed by Fender master builder Chris Fleming, who came up with some interesting concepts for this guitar. In order to make this Instrument available to a broad mass of customers, it is produced as part of the Classic Player series. At first glance, the Baja Tele presents itself as a genuine Telecaster model with a classic structure. But if you take a closer look, you will notice that Mr. Fleming has incorporated some interesting modern features into the design in the form of his Fender own S-1 circuitry and a pickup equipment from the Custom Shop donor. The body of the Fender Classic Player Baja Telecaster is made of alder and is connected to the maple neck by a screw connection, which has a maple fingerboard. The special neck plate with " Custom Shop Designed" lettering refers to the place of development of this special guitar.
A "Twisted Custom Shop " Tele Singlecoil in the neck position and one Custom Shop Vintage-Style Tele Singlecoil in the bridge position, which produce the popular Telecaster Twang sounds, are used as pickups. A 4-way blade switch is available for selecting the pickups, which activates the bridge and neck pickups individually in positions 1 and 3 respectively. In position 2 the neck and bridge pickups are activated together in Parallel -circuit, while in position 4 both pickups are activated in series. The latter option provides much more output and a very fat sound.
Further sonic variations can be called up via the S1 switch, which is integrated into the volume control in the form of a push/push switch. When the S1 switch is activated, the pickup combinations in positions 2 and 4 of the blade switch Out-of- Phase are operated. Here the sound becomes clearly thinner and hollower by extinguishing different frequency ranges.
The bridge in the Vintage Tele style with the three typical string riders from Messing contributes clearly to the formation of the popular Telecaster sound and gives the Classic Player Baja Telecaster also a certain Vintage - Look . The string is guided through the body in a so-called String -Through construction. Classic closed Vintage style tuners allow for quick and easy tuning of the guitar, while the b- and e-string string hold-down keeps the high strings securely in the saddle. Of course, the characteristic Pickguard and the Top Load Control Plate should not be missing in the overall impression of one Telecaster !

I like this guitar very much. It haz very powerfull output signal? like EMGs. Отличная гитара. Знаменитый фендеровый звук. Локовые колки прекрасно держат строй. Хороший ретейнер. Я добавил винты для крепления накладки и поставил струны 9-42.
