FENDER Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe Shoreline Gold
Chris Shiflett Signature electric guitar
American musician Chris Shiflett became world-famous primarily as a member of the legendary rock band Foo Fighters. But he has also enjoyed great success with his side project Chris Shiflett & The Dead Peasants, which is deeply rooted in country and rockabilly. With the Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster DeluxeFender presents a Signature model developed in close cooperation with Shiflett, which combines his great passion for the most classic form of all electric guitars and powerful humbucker sounds. Equipped with two specially designed, extra hot humbuckers, the CS2 in the neck position and the CS1 in the bridge position, the Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe delivers a fat sound perfect for rock riffs and screaming solo licks. Here, however, the typical twangy character of the Telecaster is not crushed by the humbuckers, but always remains recognizable and present thanks to the classic Tele construction.

on the plus-side: looks gorgeous, no flaws in paint- or woodwork. sounds good, nice weight around 3,5 kg. good material regarding wood and hardware. nut filed correctly. neck and body put together nicely. on minus-side: some residue of polish on body, needed a lot of tweeking regarding setup. sloppy electric-job, there quite a lot of ground hum, something is of with the grounding i think. Need some polishing of the frets, quite rough when bending strings. not the best QC, niether fender's or music store's.
