The Fender 1960 Jazz Bass Heavy Relic RW 3-Color Sunburst is an authentic recreation of the original "Deluxe Model" from 1960 with genuine vintage feeling and sound. While alder is used for the body in authentic offset design, the bolt-on neck is made of solid quartersawn maple with standing annual rings and a rosewood fingerboard. The slim "1960 Jazz Bass U" neck profile with the typical 38 mm nut width offers the familiar excellent playability. Two hand-wound Fender Custom Shop Jazz Bass single coils, each with its own stacked potentiometers with volume and tone controls for tonal adjustment, deliver particularly versatile bass sounds and the right groove for almost any style of music. In addition to the classic Fender American vintage bass bridge and precise open-gear tuners, the historically correct covers for the middle pickup and bridge naturally complement the Fender 1960 Jazz Bass Heavy Relic RW 3-Color Sunburst.
