Furthermore, thanks to the solid top, an amazing sound is achieved even with a light touch on the strings. With the help of the smooth-running machine heads, the acoustic guitartuners, while the bridge inlay and the finely notched nut ensure clean intonation over the entire 643 mm scale length. With its simple and timeless exterior, the instrument literally embodies the Fender Classic Design Series. The appearance is rounded off by a classy high-gloss finish.
The guitars from the Classic Design Series impress with their powerful sound, easy playability and timeless design.
Construction and woods
The body is equipped with a solid spruce top so that the guitar can produce a rich and balanced sound. Theback and sides made of laminated curly maple enrich the bass frequencies with a pleasant warmth that creates a broad sound carpet. The mahogany neck is equipped with a flat easy-to-play neck profile so that all 20 frets can be gripped easily and cleanly. The fingerboard and the bridge are made from coarse-grained walnut.
Hardware and design
The headstock is fitted with chrome-plated die-cast tuners, which make it possible to tune the strings easily and precisely. At the same time, the saddle and the 43 mm wide plastic nut ensure perfect sound development of all frets. These are marked with discreet dot inlays that contrast with the wood of the fingerboard. The top is surrounded by a filigree multi-ply binding and decorated at the sound hole with a single-ring sound hole rosette, against which a large black pickguard rests.
After many years of not playing I decided to buy a guitar again and was not disappointed. This guitar not only looks great but has fantastic sound and depth. Worth every penny
