Classic body contours & V-shape neck
The most important feature of the Strat is clearly its unique body design, which enables improved playability compared to the Telecaster thanks to its curved, ergonomic contours. As with the original, the body is made from alder and finished with a tasteful nitrocellulose finish . Naturally, the one-piece maple neck with its distinctive 1957 "V" neck profile and classic 7.25" fingerboard radius is also a must on a genuine Fifties replica.
Authentic sounds thanks to Pure Vintage '57 Strat single coils
Three Fender Pure Vintage '57 Strat Single Coils form the tonal basis of the Fender 1957 Stratocaster MNBlack and are based on the classic winding recipe of the late fifties. The result is an authentic sound in all positions of the five-position pickup selector switch, which also elicits bell-like sounds from the intermediate positions 2 and 4, making the American Vintage II '57 Stratocaster almost any kind of fun.
