Thinline ash body
The Fender American Professional II Stratocaster Thinline draws its unique sound from its semi-resonantash body, which is equipped with an additional F-hole to project the body volume resulting from the resonance chamber. Thanks to the ergonomic contoured heel, access to the highest positions of the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is now even easier, while the "Super Natural" satin finish on the back of the neck allows the fretting hand to change positions without resistance.
Fender V-Mod II Single Coils
As a further development of the coveted V-Mod pickup, three Fender V-Mod II single coils are used in the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster Thinline. The three single coils provide a versatile sound with classic Strat DNA and are an excellent complement to the acoustic timbre of the semi-resonant body. The neck pickup can be activated in the first switching positions via the push/push function of the tone control , so that the instrument can also easily produce Tele-like sounds in combination with the neck and bridge pickups.
2-Point Tremolo & Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Tuners
Naturally, the Fender American Professional II Stratocaster Thinline has the same high-quality hardware features as the American Professional II series. The bridge is a synchronized Fender 2-point tremolo system with a resonant steel block, which significantly improves values such as Sustain and treble content as well as the reliability of the tremolo compared to classic vintage systems. At the headstock, on the other hand, six Fender Cast/Sealed tuners with stepped winding axles ensure optimized contact pressure of the strings on the nut.
