Fender American Performer Precision Bass MN (Penny)
The Fender American Performer Precision Bass MN (Penny) combines the striking sound and smooth playability of the classic short-scale construction with contemporary details. This 4-string has an Alder body and a bolt-on Maple neck in the slim "Modern C" profile. A combination of Fender Yosemite Precision Bass Split Coil and Fender Yosemite Single Coil pick-ups also gives this instrument a punchy, expressive bass sound, whilst the Greasebucket Tone Circuit allows for smooth Treble roll-offs without overemphasizing the Bass. I love this thing. I have had cheaper model basses for years while I practiced, but it's not until I picked up a bass of this quality that I felt like I was actually playing music. You get what you pay for, so a friend recommended I buy a great guitar and he wasn't wrong, it makes such a difference to have something like this to play. A delight.
