In order to elicit absolutely authentic acoustic guitar sounds from the classic Telecaster design without compromises,
To bring out truly authentic acoustic tones from the classic Telecaster shape, Fender's Acoustasonic series uses their specially developed "Stringed Instrument Resonance System" (SIRS). The mahogany body features generous resonance chambers, a recessed mahogany top, and a unique "Waterfall Soundport" in the sound hole, all of which create a responsive, full-bodied sound with bright trebles, rich mids, and deep bass. The sculpted neck joint and smooth C-profile neck make it easy to play all the way up the ebony fingerboard, ensuring comfort for every player, whether strumming or soloing.
The American Acoustasonic Telecaster takes versatility to a new level with its advanced "Acoustic Engine" developed by Fender and Fishman. This system seamlessly blends acoustic and electric tones, giving you the best of both worlds. A Fishman Matrix Narrow Under-Saddle Transducer and Fishman Acoustic Enhancer Body-Sensor capture the guitar’s full acoustic sound spectrum, while a Fender Noiseless Single Coil pickup adds electric textures. With the 5-way switch and mod control, the integrated preamp allows you to explore ten unique voicings, giving you limitless creative possibilities for every musical style.

I have only had this guitar for a few days. My view is that it is a well made mass produced instrument with the benefit of modern manufacturing techniques like CNC and modern electronics. It also benefits from not having lacquer applied and it is very light.
Playing and sound wise it is fun and links that experience of playing an electric acoustically but also generating good emulations of acoustic tone when amplified. The electric fender tone I still haven't quite got nailed as it's shown in countless Youtube demos. It is still early days for me to really explore it but I like the idea of getting quirky combinations from it and recording with it. Especially acoustic processed lots of my Stymon pedals and Valhalla DSP plugins etc . Also looping about with it in the house will be fun. I think its a little expensive even though I got mine at a very good price from dv247. The seafoam green is probably not to everyone's taste but I like it even more than I thought I would.
Been trying to learn on an acoustic guitar and seem to keep tilting it to see what I’m doing, I don’t do it with this being so slim bodied. Love this guitar, well made and looks great.
