The Fender American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster (Tungsten) is a 6-String Hybrid Electro-Acoustic Guitar taken from the Acoustasonic Series. Equipped with an Acoustic Engine Pick-Up System, which Fender developed in cooperation with Fishman especially for this Series, the sophisticated Solid Body Model combines the playing comfort of an Electric Guitar with the sound of a Jazzmaster and an Acoustic Guitar. Thanks to the complex System consisting of a Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer, a Fishman Acoustic Enhancer Body Sensor and a magnetic Acoustasonic Shawbucker Pick-Up, both Acoustic and Electric Sounds can be elicited from the Instrument. The American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster comes with a sturdy Fender 1225 Deluxe Gig-Bag.
Woods & Construction
The Solid Mahogany Body and Inlaid Spruce Top is in Jazzmaster Construction and colours the entire sound with Wide and Warm properties, which is especially noticeable in the Bass and Mid-Range Frequencies. In addition, a Mahogany Neck with a Modern Deep “C” Profile and an Ebony Fingerboard guarantee the playability, making extensive sequences of notes and solos a breeze. In addition, a Satin Urethane Finish allows the picking hand to glide effortlessly over the Neck.
Design & Hardware
A finely notched Nut made of Graph Tech TUSQ and a compensated Saddle allow the 6x Steel Strings to intonate very cleanly over the entire Scale Length of 648mm and thus also allow the problem-free use of a Capo. The Chrome-Plated Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered Tuners with their fine transmission ensure easy and precise Tuning and give the Instrument a traditional appearance in combination with the characteristic Headstock. 2x Potentiometers on the top of the Instrument allow you to adjust the Master Volume and the Mode (A/B) can be adjusted individually. In addition, the individual Pick-Up points can be switched through via a 5-Way Selector Switch.
