Classic construction with contemporary playing comfort
The construction of the Fender American Standard Dimension Bass is based on classic ingredients, which are complemented by innovative details for a high level of playing comfort. For the body, alder is used, which in combination with the maple screw neck promises a crisp premar sound with fast response and perfect reproduction of the low B string. The neck with the asymmetrical "C" profile, the oil/wax finish and the compound radius offers unhindered playing comfort across all 21 Medium Jumbo frets.
Dimension Humbucker
The two fat Fender dimension humbuckers were developed especially for this bass model and convince with their versatile, modern sound. Equipped with ceramic magnets and exposed rectangular poles, they deliver a powerful, warm sound that convinces with contemporary clarity and presence, but never lacks its typical Fender character. From the rich deep middle thrust of the neck pickup to the wirily articulating assertive sound of the bridge pickup, a wide spectrum of band-like sounds can be called up via the passive electronics with two volume and one tone controls. The low H-string is also precisely integrated into the sound.
