The Buddy Guy "Polka Dot" Stratocaster from the Fender Artist Series is a tribute to the legendary blues guitarist and multiple Grammy award winner Buddy Guy, who, in addition to his iconic guitar playing and a long career as a musician, was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1985 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 . With the unique "Polka Dot" Stratocaster, Fender delivers an instrument that conveys the unique Strat sound and is equipped with great features. The electric guitar has an alder body and a four-bolt maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard. The fingerboard radius of 9.5" allows comfortable playability for demanding riffs and bluesy licks, while the soft "V" neck profile provides additional comfort. In keeping with the vintage zeitgeist, the Buddy Guy "Polka Dot" delivers the unique Stratocaster sound that has been making music history for 70 years!

The Buddy Guy "Polka Dot" Stratocaster naturally carries three Stratocaster Standard Single Coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions, which creates the legendary Strat voicing. The tone is characterized by crisp mids and striking highs, conveying the iconic vocal sound character. The pickups can be controlled via a 5-way switch, while a master volume control and two separate tone controls are available for the neck and middle pickups.

With a 6-saddle vintage-style bridge with synchronized tremolo, the Buddy Guy "Polka Dot" Stratocaster features the classic tremolo system, allowing precise vibrato nuances to be incorporated into the guitar playing. The signature guitar also comes with vintage-style tuners, vintage-style strap buttons and a classic four-bolt neck plate.
