The Fender70th Player Strat, celebrates the 70th anniversary of the legendary Stratocaster, first launched in 1954 and still considered an icon among electric guitars today. With its traditional design and contemporary electronics, Fender combines that famous Strat sound with high-quality modern standards enabling comfortable playability and ensuring the defining sound of the 1950s. The alder body comes with the authentic 2-color sunburst finish and is complemented by a four-piece bolt-on maple neck. The maple fingerboard offers comfortable playability with a modern "C" neck profile, 22 frets and a compound radius of 9.5". The 70th Player Strat honors seven decades of music history of an electric guitar that has significantly shaped all genres with its iconic design and sound.

Player Series Alnico 5 Strat Single Coils
The iconic three single coil pickup design of the original Stratocaster has naturally been adopted for the 70th Player Series model and consists of three Player Series Alnico 5 Strat single coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions. The special Player Series pickups not only produce the authentic sound of the original Strat SC pickups, but also deliver a modern bite to meet contemporary sound standards. Overall, the 70th Player Strat is characterized by the Strat-typical bright tone color, defined by present mids and crystal-clear overtones, creating a perfect basis for finding your individual sound.
Synchronized 2-point tremolo and traditional body radii
To mark the 70th anniversary of the original Stratocaster, the body of the 70th Player Strat was recreated with exactly authentic rad ii to convey the full vintage feel. The classic 2-point tremolo has also been retained, providing robust tuning stability and allowing the use of nuanced vibratos. The pickguard, pickup covers, knobs and 5-way switch are finished in parchment color, while the nickel/chromehardware provides a classic look. The 70th Player Strat delivers an authentic vintage feel thanks to its accurate workmanship and iconic sound, bringing the spirit of the 50s back to life.
