Special model for the 60th anniversary of the Fender Jaguar
With the Fender 60th Anniversary Jaguar RW Mystic Lake Placid Blue, Fender celebrates the 60th anniversary of the electric guitar introduced in 1962 as the "Top or the Line" model, which with its offset style and varied sounds was perfectly tailored to the needs of the music styles that were in vogue at the time and today is the guitar of choice especially in alternative and indie rock. While the short 24" scale length and the neck in the authentically reproduced C-profile promise comfortable playing characteristics, two Jaguar single coils with rhythm and lead circuit provide first-class vintage tones. Fender naturally completes the 60th Anniversary Jaguar with the typical Vintage "Floating" tremolo, a 6-saddle bridge and precise Vintage-Style tuners.
Celebrating the Jaguar's 60th birthday, the Fender 60th Anniversary Jaguar RW Mystic Lake Placid Blue features classy custom hardware and an authentic vintage feel.
A neckplate with Anniversary logo connects maple neck and alder body of the 60th Anniversary Jaguar.
Classic construction and authentic playing feel.
The 60th Anniversary Jaguar is clearly oriented towards its ancestors from the beginning of the wild sixties in terms of construction and playing characteristics. While the alder body in the typical offset style takes a stable position strung from a strap or on one's thigh, the shortened 24" scale length (610 mm) together with the slim "1966 Jaguar C" maple neck and the 7.25" fingerboard radius (184 mm) promise a buttery-smooth sensation while playing and an authentic vintage feel.
Jaguar single coils with typical metal binding and the circuit with lead and rhythm circuit promise versatile guitar sounds with vintage character....
Jaguar Single Coils with flexible circuit.
For the pickups for the 60th Anniversary Jaguar, Fender chose two 60th Anniversary Jaguar Single Coils. Due to the slightly increased output and the serrated metal shielding, the pickups bewilder with a particularly warm and dynamically responsive sound, which also comes up in the overdrive channel with reduced ambient noise. Of course, the pickups are controlled with a lead and rhythm circuit, which grants command of two sound presets. While the rhythm circuit activates the neck pickup together with its own volume and tone controls, the lead circuit permits full access to the pickups via two on/off switches and general volume and tone controls. In addition, this circuit comes with the well-known "Strangle" switch, which activates a high pass filter.
Vintage-style tuners with Fender logo keep the 60th Anniversary Jaguar securely in tune.
Authentic hardware:
Last but not least, Fender completed the features of the 60th Anniversary Jaguar RW Mystic Lake Placid Blue with authentic vintage-style hardware. While the 6-Saddle Adjustable Bridge promises precise adjustment of resonance and string activity, the vintage-style "floating" tremolo can be used to create shimmering shifts in pitch. Behind the bone nut, Fender Vintage "F" Stamped tuners also ensure precise tuning with long-lasting stability.
This guitar not only looks the part with its accompanying case with orange inlay, it also sounds fantastic and is a dream to play. 10/10 would recommend to anyone along with buying from Music Store for a quick and easy service. Rock on!
