The Fender Custom Shop uses the traditional construction with alder body and screwed neck made of maple with standing annual rings (Quarter Sawn Maple). With the middle "C"-profile the neck offers the usual playing comfort, so that on the rosewood fingerboard every reef and lick goes almost by itself out of hand. Hand-wound Fender Custom Shop '58 Single Coil Pickups on the amplifier also provide the distinctive Twang, which gives every tone an outstanding assertiveness. The Fender 1959 Journeyman Relic Telecaster is completed by high-quality hardware in the indestructible vintage style.
