The Fender 1958 Special Stratocaster Journeyman Relic Chocolate 3-Color Sunburst combines the classic Strat design with a modern wood selection to create a first-class electric guitar with a lively sound and superb playability. Accordingly, the Fender Custom Shop focuses on a resonant roasted alder body and a bolt-on roasted flamed maple neck, which offers extremely smooth handling thanks to the "Soft V" profile and compound fretboard radius. Three hand-wound Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s single coils deliver warm vintage sounds with a rich bottom end and high transparency. The Fat '50s Wiring with Greasebucket-Tone-Circuit allows the player to get a wide variety of tones without the sound being washed out by treble roll-offs.
