Two-piece alder body & quarter sawn maple neck
The tonewood combination of alder and maple is an extremely popular classic and produces a warm and resonant basic tone with a crisp response. While the body is made in two parts, high-quality quarter sawn maple is used for the one-piece bolt-on neck. Thanks to its grain pattern from headstock to neck heel, the radially cut piece of maple has particularly advantageous properties that give it reliable stability and outstanding resonance characteristics. The neck is finished off with a rosewood fingerboard with 21 vintage frets and a compound radius that rises from 9.5 to 12 inches.
HSS setup from Fender & Seymour Duncan
The pickup combination used is made up of particularly popular pickup designs from Fender and Seymour Duncan and forms an absolute dream team for players looking for powerful and flexible sounds. The two hand-wound Fender Custom Shop Texas Special single coils on the neck and in the middle position provide a vocal sound character with unmistakable Strat DNA, while the Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB humbucker contributes particularly powerful bridge sounds, but in no way overpowers the middle pickup in the intermediate position, resulting in a balanced combination.
