For the price the stand is perfect. It wouldn't stand up to being knocked about too much, but all I want it to do it sit in my office, ready for a practice; and it does that perfectly. Sturdy enough, easily adjusted, great value.
I bought this stand in combination with a practice drum pad. Fairly low level stuff but want to make sure that I can get into drumming before committing any real dosh. It's well made for the price and is working well for me with the practice pad. You will want to make sure that it has the correct size thread (8mm) if you are buying it seperately to use with other equipment.
