The FAME Marching Line offers everything you need for your start up into the world of marching percussion. Premium materials and solid craftmenship produce a powerful and penetrating sound.
For the price its a good bit of kit, but it is what it is a budget range drum. The drum has only six lugs so tensioning is only reasonable but with creative dampening you can achieve a good sound. The snare off mechanism is only a basic throw off but it works well. Changing the top skin can help, I used a coated Evans head with a thin strip of felt and it improved the dampening of the quite alarming ringing sound. The harness is good for small people or children but for adults finishes too short and catches your shoulder blades.
