The Fame Hybrid PRO Sound Module Refurbished is a professional e-drum trigger module from the exclusive Simon Phillips and Marco Minnemann Edition, fully compatible with all leading drum manufacturers. These are carefully inspected, technically flawless refurbished units, offered with our 3-year guarantee. Equipped with 12 individual trigger channels and four direct outputs, the Fame Hybrid Pro ensures latency-free performance and outstaning flexibility. It features an 4 GB flash memory, capable of storing a wide range of sounds and WAV samples. Included are approximately 400 exclusive multi-layer sounds, built from 12,500 individual samples recorded by Simon Philips and Marco Minnemann specifically for Music Store professional. Its open sound architecture, combined with an intuitive software editor for PC and ac, allows users to quickly sort, create and customise kits, sounds and backing tracks. The module offers 100 memory slots for kits with 40 preloaded custom sounds. Each kit can be linked to a clicktrack or song - perfect for live performance. The four direct outs offer the opportunity to route pads, songs and clicks individually, and the headphone output (stereo) can also be routed as an additional direct output. The stereo line-in turns the Fame Hybrid PRO module into an in-ear monitoring station. Additionally, connected pads can be assigned specific functions such as starting or stopping songs, loops or the metronome at the touch of a button. The Fame Hybrid PRO is compatible with all manufacturers. All drum and cymbal pads can be connected, and it also works perfectly with all triggers .

To ensure the highest possible sound quality across all styles, every drum and cymbal in the Fame Hybrid PRO sound library was recorded using an elaborate multi-microphone setup at varying distances. At Fame, "multi-layer" means more than just recording at different volume levels—it involves capturing the natural tonal changes and frequency shifts that occur with varying playing intensities. The unique open sound concept of the Fame Hybrid Pro module represents a groundbreaking innovation in this price range. When you connect the module to a device via USB, it is recognised as a storage medium in USB mode, granting you full access to the entire module. Using a simple drag & drop method, you can easily transfer samples, loops and entire songs onto the module, ready for immediate use. All settings – including kits, sounds, presets and triggers – can be organised and arranged on your PC or Mac, much like managing files or images. The free software editor makes it easy to load your own kits, complete with sounds and songs, allowing you to create a setlist that can be called up in sequence during a live performance. For more advanced users, the software editor also enables you to create multi-layer sounds with up to 127 velocity levels from your own samples. With this feature, you can turn any WAV file – such as a studio recording of an acoustic drum kit – into a detailed, high-quality mutli-layer sound, further enhancing the realism of your performance.

you can now enjoy additional sounds that can be accessed directly from the module. These sounds include authentic and modern cymbal and drum tones, all recorded in a professional studio setting. For the cymbal sounds, we commissioned recordings of a Zildjian K Custom Dark Set and a Meinl Pure Alloy Cymbal Set. Renowned microphones, preamps, and transducers were carefully selected to ensure an exceptional sound experience. These are high-resolution multi-layer samples at 44.1 kHz and 24-bit depth, created from numerous individual samples. For example, the hi-hat sounds alone consist of over 260 individual samples. The recording process utilised the multi-mic method, with six microphones capturing each sample to capture every nuance of the sound. For the drum sounds, the legendary Sonor Hilite series was sampled. Three premium drum kits were created, each featuring different tunings, head types, and mix parameters in post-production. The resulting kits—Prog Kit, Rock Kit, and Gated Reverb Kit—offer exceptional versatility for a wide range of musical styles and performances.

These include beautiful, authentic, and relaxing handpan sounds, complete with matching loops, all recorded in a professional studio. To ensure the highest quality sound experience, renowned microphones, preamps, and converters were carefully selected. These high-resolution, multi-layer samples are recorded at 44.1 kHz and 24-bit depth, constructed from numerous individual samples using the multi-mic technique. Each sound offers up to ten velocity levels (layers), delivering an exceptionally realistic and dynamic playing experience. In post-production, six inspiring kits were created, designed to spark creativity. When combined with the modern loops, these kits provide endless possibilities for sound design and musical exploration.

To ensure a premium audio experience, only top-tier microphones, preamps, and converters were used throughout the recording process. As expected, these are high-resolution multi-layer samples recorded at 44.1 kHz and 24-bit, meticulously constructed from a large number of individual samples. The hi-hat sounds alone consist of over 150 layers, allowing for an incredibly dynamic and realistic response. Dirk Sengotta is a legendary drummer, music producer, and DJ, renowned for his work as both a live and studio musician. He has collaborated with world-famous artists including the Scorpions, Gloria Gaynor, Sasha, Angelo Branduardi, the Pointer Sisters, and Nino de Angelo. Dirk is known for his inventive blend of acoustic and electronic elements, a hallmark of his versatile musical style.

For the Fame Hybrid PRO, Dirk has applied his vast knowledge to create 25 cutting-edge kits, featuring predominantly electronic sounds.
