The Fame Hard-Case ABS Pinstripe (Electric Guitar) is a Hard-Case created from ABS Plastic with a wooden core and upholstered exterior, designed to carry Electric Guitars. The Instrument lies well protected on the thick padding with soft plush covering. A large Accessory Compartment allows for the transport of small parts such as Cables or Tuners, and the Case can be locked during transportation.

Fame Hard-Case ABS Pinstripe (Electric Guitar)Last year I ordered here my Ibanez RG550-DY, but it came without a proper case or gig bag. I was thinking about ordering the Ibanez one when I came across this one.
The guitar fits excellent, feels protected. It is like my Prestige Ibanez case from my UV777, and it looks the same as an Ibanez one, feels like one, but more than half price.
Only thing I'm missing is proper pockets with lid, but it's not a problem.
My reference for this type of case is what usually SKB offers under its own brand for ST-type guitars like 1SKB-66.
Compared to that (which is far more expensive):
-> Good workmanship and overall fit, however no additional reinforcement
-> No ST shape mold but that can be an advantage since it also accepts a tele
-> Guitar doesn't wooble around once you close it. Big plus. In the SKB case it did;
-> Padding thinner and not as soft, but decent, about same feeling as Fender SKB-made molded case (which is way overpriced for what it is BTW)
-> Decent locks but only 3, system not as sturdy as SKB
-> Very nice looks
-> Smaller footprint, which is a plus
Overall, I'd recommend this:
-> As a more affordable alternative to something like 1SKB-66
-> As at about equal in quality to the Fender Deluxe Molded Series cases but much more affordable
