The Fame Hard-Case ABS Pinstripe (Electric Bass) is a Hard-Case created from ABS Plastic with a wooden core and upholstered exterior, designed to carry Electric Basses. The Instrument lies well protected on the thick padding with soft plush covering. A large Accessory Compartment allows for the transport of small parts such as Cables or Tuners, and the Case can be locked during transportation.

Fame Hard-Case ABS Pinstripe (Electric Bass)I don't know why these manufacturers don't think in feet/pads for vertical storage because 99% of the case users store them vertically.
ABS cases are more scratch-resistant and light than the wood ones. If you need to travel with your bass, this ABS case is tough enough and the 4 latches (1 with lock) are tight and strong. Go for it.
Unfortunately, its interior was not high enough for my Cort C5 and the vertical storage is not possible.
