Electric guitar in high gloss finish with flamed maple-top, Seymour Duncan pickups and piezo pickup system
The Fame Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss is a versatile electric guitar with contemporary full features and high playing comfort. The slim mahogany body with chic curly maple top assumes a comfortable playing position, with the generous Cutaways providing unobstructed access across the entire neck. This is crafted from mahogany and traditionally glued, while the flat "D" profile fits comfortably in the hand, making any riff or lick feel like it comes naturally on the ebony fingerboard. On the amp, the proven combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB on the bridge delivers versatile sounds between pop, Blues and rock, which are extended thanks to coil split and authentic single-coil sounds. The integrated piezo pickup system provides furthermore first-class acoustic guitar sounds, so there are no limits to the tonal variety and musical expression. A Tune-O-Matic bridge including Stopbar tailpiece and precise locking tuners complete the Fame Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss.
The Fame Forum IV Modern Stonewashed Blue Highgloss combines contemporary full features with a high level of playing comfort.
High playability and careful wood selection
The Fame Forum IV Modern is made by experienced guitar builders in Europe and accordingly impresses with its careful wood selection and flawless finish. Thus, the body is made of khaya mahogany with a top of curly maple, whose unique grain is emphasized by the high-gloss finish. Noble highlight here is undoubtedly the sharply contoured arching of the top with a recess in the cutaway, which ensures unhindered playability across all registers. The Sapelli mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the perfectly proportioned "D" profile so that every note plays almost by itself on the ebony fingerboard.
With two Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a piezo pickup system in the bridge, the Fame Forum IV Modern delivers versatile sounds.
Seymour Duncan Humbuckerfor sounds between Blues and Rock
Thanks to the versatile pickup equipment, the FameForum IV Modern is particularly flexible in terms of sound. With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB at the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz at the neck, a proven pair of humbuckers is used that delivers the right sound for every genre between blues, pop, rock and even metal. Here, the bridge pickup convinces with a high Output and the enormous assertiveness of its sharply focused mids, while the neck pickup brings every note to life with endless Sustain and warm vintage voice. Thanks to the coil split circuit, authentic single-coil sounds are also available with the typical bell-like clarity of tone.
The front volume control is designed as a push/pull pot and activates the piezo, whose volume is controlled via the rear pot. Via the mini switch the humbuckers can be split to single coils.
Piezo pickup system
In addition to the magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern is equipped with a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system, which is integrated into the bridge and has an active preamp. The system is activated via a pull on the front volume knob and from then on delivers authentic acoustic guitar sounds with brilliant highs and the typical attack behavior at the amplifier. The volume of the piezo system can be adjusted via the rear potentiometer, so that mixed sounds with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups are also possible.
The Fame Forum IV Modern has a body made of Khaya mahogany, while the glued neck is made of Sapelli mahogany.
The Fame Forum IV Modern is equipped with locking tuners for precise tuning and quick string changes.
Hardware fromSchaller/Gotoh andGraphTech
Last but not least, the Fame Forum IV Modern impresses with its high-quality hardware equipment, which completes operations on stage and in the Studio with unrestricted reliability. From the traditional stopbar tailpiece, the strings are fed over the GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose string risers made of String-Saver graphite material house the Ghost piezo elements. Also from GraphTech is the Black TUSQ nut, behind which the strings are held at the headstock by precise locking mechanics.

Excerpt: Otherwise, perfection down to the details. The unvarnished satin surfaces convey an extremely pleasant feel, the ergonomics a high level of playing comfort. Schaller hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and GraphTech ghost piezo bridge with corresponding Preamp - that's how you score points. Last but not least, both guitars have an absolutely convincing sound and, thanks to their very good vibration characteristics, excellent dynamics and stable Sustain, they serve a wide range of different musical genres.
amazing instrument sounds fantastic has a great feel looks as good as much more expensive guitars but the guitar was poorly shipped the cardboard was very soft no gig bag was included & there was a chip on the top of the headstock you did refund 50.00 dollars for that & the gig bag arrived today I love the guitar but how it got sent the way it did I'm surprised there wasn't more damage.i still give hot a top rating because the guitar is that good & you addressed the issue quickly

I've REALLY gelled with this guitar. First thing first the wood on this guitar and the craftsmanship are TOP notch. I was not impressed with the electronics the Duncan pickups, while a classic combo, didn't suit my needs. I put shur thornbuckers in right away. While the piezo pickups are graphtech the preamp is not, I changed that out as well. I also added a tone control and removed the piezo switch for a piezo volume (can be done with a mini pot). As you can see I'm super particular about my electronics so I don't fault fame, especially at this price. I will be buy another one! But, can we get a few more color options for the semi hollow!???
