The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Emerald Green Gloss at a glance:
TheFame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Emerald Green Gloss celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Fame brand as a strictly limited special edition model with high-quality premium tonewoods, a contemporary full specification and a high level of playing comfort. The slim mahogany body with a chic burl poplar top not only presents its visually appealing refinements, but also offers a comfortable playing position, with the generous Cutaways providing unrestricted access across the entire neck. This is made from mahogany and glued in the traditional way, while the flat "D" profile sits comfortably in the hand, so that every riff or lick on the ebony fingerboard comes naturally. At the amplifier, the proven combination of a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck and a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB on the bridge delivers versatile sounds between pop, Blues and rock, which are expanded thanks to Coil-Split and authentic single-coil sounds. The integrated piezo pickup system furthermore provides first-class acoustic guitar sounds, so that there are no limits to the tonal variety and musical expression. A Tune-O-Matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece and precise locking tuners from Gotoh complete the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Emerald Green Gloss.
High playability and careful wood selection
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl is made by experienced luthiers in Europe and therefore impresses with its careful choice of wood and flawless workmanship. The body is made from khaya mahogany with a poplar burl top, whose unique grain is skillfully emphasized by the Finish. The sharply contoured curvature of the top with a recess in the cutaway, which ensures unhindered playability across all registers, is without doubt an elegant highlight. The sapele mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand thanks to the perfectly proportioned "D" profile, so that every note on the ebony fingerboard almost plays itself.
With two Seymour Duncan humbuckers and a piezo pickup system in the bridge, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl delivers versatile sounds.
Seymour Duncan humbucker for sounds between Blues and rock
Thanks to the versatile pickup configuration, the Fame Forum IV Modern is particularly flexible in terms of sound. With a Seymour Duncan SH-4 JB on the bridge and a Seymour Duncan SH-2n Jazz on the neck, a proven pair of humbuckers is used to deliver the right sound for every genre between blues, pop, rock and even metal. The bridge pickup impresses with a high Output and the enormous assertiveness of its sharply focused mids, while the neck pickup brings every note to life with endless Sustain and a warm vintage voice. Thanks to the coil-split circuit, authentic single-coil sounds with the typical bell-like clear sound development are also available.
The front volume control is designed as a push/pull pot and activates the piezo. The humbuckers can be split into single coils using the mini switch.
Piezo pickup system
In addition to the magnetic pickups, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary is equipped with a GraphTech Ghost piezo pickup system, which is integrated into the bridge and has an active preamp. The system is activated via a pull on the front volume control and delivers authentic acoustic guitar sounds with brilliant highs and the typical attack behavior on the amplifier. The volume of the piezo system can be adjusted via the rear potentiometer so that mixed sounds with the magnetic Seymour Duncan pickups are also possible.
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl Emerald Green Gloss has a body made of khaya mahogany, while the glued neck is made of sapele mahogany.
The Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary is equipped with Gotoh locking tuners for precise tuning and quick string changes.
Hardware from Gotoh and GraphTech
Last but not least, the Fame Forum IV Modern 20th Anniversary Burl impresses with its high-quality hardware equipment, which performs on stage and at Studio with unrestricted reliability. From the traditional stopbar tailpiece, the strings are guided over the GraphTech Resomax Tune-O-Matic bridge, whose string savers made of graphite string savers accommodate the ghost piezo elements. The Black TUSQ nut, behind which the strings are held on the headstock by precise Gotohlocking tuners, also comes from GraphTech.

Excerpt: Otherwise, perfection down to the last detail. The unlacquered satin surfaces convey an extremely pleasant feel, the ergonomics a high level of playing comfort. Schaller hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and GraphTech Ghost Piezo Bridge with corresponding Preamp - that's how you score plus points. Last but not least, the sound of both guitars is absolutely convincing and, thanks to their very good resonance characteristics, excellent dynamics and stable Sustain, they can also be used for a wide range of different musical genres.
amazing instrument sounds fantastic has a great feel looks as good as much more expensive guitars but the guitar was poorly shipped the cardboard was very soft no gig bag was included & there was a chip on the top of the headstock you did refund 50.00 dollars for that & the gig bag arrived today I love the guitar but how it got sent the way it did I'm surprised there wasn't more damage.i still give hot a top rating because the guitar is that good & you addressed the issue quickly

I've REALLY gelled with this guitar. First thing first the wood on this guitar and the craftsmanship are TOP notch. I was not impressed with the electronics the Duncan pickups, while a classic combo, didn't suit my needs. I put shur thornbuckers in right away. While the piezo pickups are graphtech the preamp is not, I changed that out as well. I also added a tone control and removed the piezo switch for a piezo volume (can be done with a mini pot). As you can see I'm super particular about my electronics so I don't fault fame, especially at this price. I will be buy another one! But, can we get a few more color options for the semi hollow!???
