The Fame Fernfeld is an Equalizer Effect Pedal for Electric Guitar, taken from a Series of small-format units. The Fernfeld is the perfect tool for editing the sound character of Guitars and Basses. With 7x frequency bands from 63Hz-5kHz, the Fernfeld reaches into essential places to enable a variety of sounds through boosts or cuts. In addition, this pedal has a Level slider that adjusts the overall output of the Fernfeld to the respective settings and adds extra signal strength to the sound if required.
The main features of the Fame Fernfeld Equalizer Effect Pedal include:
I wanted a cheap EQ to shape the gain before my signal goes into overdrives to get more tonal variety. It does exactly that. Not a whole lot of gain on tap but enough to shape the tone. Only small problem, the color scheme does make it difficult to see the settings. This can be remedied in a lot of ways, adding stickers or painting something on. Given the price I don't see this as an issue though.
To add extra eq options for a piezo on a Martin acoustic which also has a magnetic soundhole pickup running through a few other pedals: I can add this to my usual board, run it off the same powerbank and output to a separate PA channel. Works well.
The range of bands is good and useful but there is just too much background crackle noise when plugged into my electric violin (pro / not cheap instrument)
