Self-adhesive hole reinforcement ring for the Bass Drum head
The Fame FRBD-4GR Bass Drum Ring Grey 4" is a self-adhesive hole reinforcement ring made of foam for the resonant head of the bass drum. The foam used additionally brings a moderate damping. It also acts as a template to cut the hole cleanly and without cracks in the Bass Drum. Simply stick the Fame FRBD-4GR on the desired place on the soundboard and cut out the inside with a carpet knife. The edge of the hole is now reinforced and cannot be torn or frayed. A hole in the resonant skin is used to place a microphone in the Bass Drum. In addition, a hole in the reso fur creates an extremely focused and clean fundamental sound.
