Upgraded from the Mapex/CB line of stands and this one is the usual Fame quality. With the bonus of an 8mm thread on top so I can use my cymbalmate to secure any of my large cymbals with ease and confidence. This item is heavy with the counterweight but boy is it sturdy! As good as a DW stand at a third of the price.
