The Fame Baphomet II uses only hand-selected woods, which guarantee optimal sound and playing characteristics. The body consists of light Black Limba which supports a powerful sound with harmonic integration of the low B-string, while the soft curvature guarantees comfortable playability for the player. The 5-piece neck made of Mahogany with Maple veneer is screwed 6x times for a particularly firm connection and, with its slim "D" profile, offers the best playing characteristics across all 24x frets of the Pau-Ferro fingerboard.

MEC Pick-Ups & Electronics
The electric sound conversion of the Baphomet II 5 is performed by 2x active MEC Jazz single coils. Equipped with ceramic magnets, these pick-ups provide a particularly transparent sound, which combines high assertiveness with all-round capabilities for almost any musical style and also tightly reproduces the low B-string. In addition to the volume and balance controls, the Baphomet II 5 also features an active MEC BEC2 2-band tone control. With treble and bass controls on a double potentiometer, the equalizer allows precise adjustment of the sound, while the musical tuning guarantees a first-class sound experience even with extreme settings.
