The Fame DF 025 is a robust 19" machine trolley (rack trolley) on rollers with a total of 21U for holding 19" equipment. The upper part with 12U is adjustable in angle, the lower part with 9U is fixed. Mobile racks are perfect for flexible positioning of preamps close to the sound source or extend the fixed racks of your workstation with additional height units. Due to its sturdy sheet steel construction, the Fame DF 025 carries heavy equipment like the Fairchild 670, Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor or the SPL Iron without any problems.
The trolley is delivered without rack screws!

The construction is sturdy, and the assembly very easy. You can't get better for the price.
Now, inexpensiveness aside, I have two qualms (ok, one and a half) :
- It is difficult to tighten the upper part so that it holds in position - even more so because I didn't get the lever-type metal handles you see on the photo, but plastic knob-like handles instead. So your upper rack will always end up in its balanced position, which, with typical gear, is with the front part almost completely down (that is, facing you). It's ok for me because that's how I like to use it anyway. But if you only put heavy gear at the top of the pivoting part, I suspect it will tlt backwards quite hard. The practical-minded will always find solutions for that of course.
- The plastic caps that cap the tubes don't hold in place too well. Since I didn't want to use glue, I thickened them with some tape and now they hold.
Once mounted, the frames were not perfectly parallel, couldnt mount my units on the top of the frames as they were too wide appart, but with some strength i could bend the frames closer to each other.
After it was done, the second problem was on the bottom frames (also not perfectly parallel) so one of the wheels wouldnt touch the ground and the whole trolley wasn't stable, but this time i needed some extra material to adjust the wheels because bending that part would have been too risky.
The welds are a little ugly in some places, but it stays solid.
The price is 5x better than any other brands of this very same model so i'm ok with the inconveniences it had.
End of the day i fixed every issues, so my conclusion is, if you are a DIY person, you will most likely fix the issues you may encounter, if you are not, you will most likely send it back...
