Fame AG-40A Battery Amplifier for Electro-Acoustic Guitars
The Fame AG-40A Battery Amplifier (Electro-Acoustic Guitar) is a 40W Battery-Operated Amplifier with 2-Channels for Electro-Acoustic Guitars and Vocals. An Audio Player can be fed in via a Bluetooth Interface, meaning the AG-40A can be used anywhere and at any time, independent of a power source. The Guitar Channel has a Volume control and a 3-Band Equalizer with Bass, Mid and Treble controls. The Fame AG-40A has an additional Reverb Control.
The Microphone Channel has a Combo Jack with an XLR/Jack Input, while a 3-Band Equalizer separates the frequencies cleanly and a Reverb Effect creates appropriate atmosphere. Should feedback nevertheless occur, the AG-40A is equipped with a Notch Filter that consistently filters out the feedback frequencies. Finally, a 3.5mm Jack Input for backing tracks and a Jack Output for connecting another Active Speaker. A Gig-Bag is also included in the delivery.
The main features of the Fame AG-40A Battery Amplifier (Electro-Acoustic Guitar) include:
40W Battery Amplifier for Electro-Acoustic Guitar
2-Channels (Electro-Acoustic Guitar/Vocals)
3-Band EQ
8” & 1” Speakers
Bluetooth
MP3 Player & Recording Function (Via Optional Micro-SD/USB Stick)
6.35mm Jack Inputs (Guitar) & XLR Combo Input (Mic)
I love this product, the guitar sound is excellent for such a small amp,the only thing is when playing with backing track the mix is a bit muddy, but for street performance it's good enough.I wander if replacement battery is available when the battery dies?
I needed an amplifier for busking so battery operation was most important. It's loud enough and the claimed 5 hours battery life is enough for my hour and half slot. If there was a downside 7kg is a bit heavy to lug around but I got round that by using a trolley. Having said that, it's built like a tank and the carry bag is strong and good quality. I'm happy!
I play in an acoustic duo and I needed a portable battery amp for outside venue gigs. I didn’t want to spend £600 so I went for the Fame amp. Having seen some YouTube reviews of the amp wearing other brand names I was impressed so I bought it on spec. The case is bombproof and it has a padded bag, the sound is actually superb and loud enough and as I only use reverb the specs are sufficient - the notch system does exactly what it should and eliminates feedback and the battery life is impressive - 2 hours playing and no apparent loss of charge. I bought a speaker wedge so I can tilt the amp back at an angle and I’m very pleased with my rig - 10 out if 10 👍
