The Pro-L2 is the second version of FabFilter's popular limiter. Users can expect four brand-new limiting algorithms: "Modern" for general limiting solutions, "Agressive" for EDM and rock music, "Bus" for drums and individual tracks as well as "Safe" with the focus on absolute "non-clipping". Plus True Peak Limiting Mode to easily achieve the maximum peak target, improved peak/loudness metering for EBU R128, ITU-R BS.1770-4 and ATSC A/85 standards, full surroundaudiosupport with flexible channel linking, 32x linear phase oversampling, a DC offset filter and much more!
But not only under the hood was filed: The elegant design has also been revised and contributes to the improved workflow. The Real-Time Display is now even more effective and has innovativedisplaymodes that display the entire audio of the session, for example, while the gain reduction or its display is illuminated depending on the situation to gain a better insight into the limiting process. All in all, this big update brings not only more efficiency, but also fun into the workflow.
