Eventide Tverb License Code
is the plug-in version of a room sampling method developed by Tony Visconti during the vocal recordings for David Bowie's hit Heroes: Initially the software provides a classic reverb processor with decay, diffusion and reverb EQ. However, in addition, 3 room microphones in the near, middle and far positions are simulated, which can be moved freely on the user interface by the user - or a DAW automation. The near-field microphone is equipped with an analog-sounding compressor as standard, while the two remaining microphones are each assigned a gate. In the mixer section, the 4 reverb and room sounds - reverb, near, middle, far - can now be freely combined, tensioned and phase-turned. Thus, the Tverb enables the realization of modern, complex room miking techniques without having to have the necessary space the size of a ballroom.
