Misha by Eventide is an innovative combination of a digital synthvoice and an interval-based sequencer. First you define a basic note and one of the 100 scales and then select the desired interval with the colored buttons. This procedure is especially useful for users who have musical results in focus, but notes, pitches and chords are "bömische Dörfer". Misha can be played like a keyboard instrumentand even accepts MIDI for note input, but the approach to input is quite different. In addition, the module is suitable for playing three-part live sound generators via MIDI and corresponding module combinations/synth voices via CV/Gate. Via the audio output Misha is able to bring the generated patterns with an internal sound generation to the ear. Ultimately, Misha is a tone row based sequencer inspired by the classical compositional technique of serial music. A deeper manipulation of the sequences is possible eg. by means of rhythmic variations through bar splitting and modulation of parameters via MIDI and CV.
