The UV1 Coated TomPack Fusion is a single layer skin set for Toms in 10", 12" and 14". The UV-cured coating is unmatched in durability and also promises absolute tuning stability. Evans UV1 series heads are made of a film with a thickness of 10 mil. The sound is similar to the Evans G1 skins, but the tone is more focused. The Level 360 °technology ensures an exact support of the skin on the shell, which guarantees the Evansskins a particularly high tuning range.
UV cured coating
Evans UV1 series drumheads are single layer drumheads with a thickness of 10 mil (approx. 0.254 mm). The coating of the UV1 drumheads is cured by a special process using ultraviolet light and promises a significantly longer life than conventional coatings. In addition, it has a stronger structure than usual, which also makes these drumheads particularly interesting for use with jazz brooms. The Level 360° technology ensures that the head rests exactly on the shell, which guarantees Evans heads a particularly high tuning range. These features make Evans UV1 drumheads the most versatile and durable single-ply coated drumheads in the Evans range.
