Evans Practice Pad Apprentice, 7", ARF-7GMThis is a very good pad because the 7" is way better than the regular 6" ones but the price is the same! The sound is ok, not loud and not annoying. The 8 mm inserted thread is very helpfull such is the non-slip material on the bottom.
Great practice pad, lovely feel and very versatile to where it can be played. Screws to a cymbal stand, sits on a table top (rubber trim on bottom) or in a snare basket. Brilliant!
The 7" Evans Real Feel practice pad is a great addition to my setup for practicing. It's quiet and has a great playing feel and response. I've been practicing on it for an hour per day since it arrived a week ago and I'm already becoming a faster player!
