Equipment

The light source is an OSD 10 reflector 280W discharge lamp that projects a very tightly focused beam of light with a beam angle of 2°. With the 14 dichroic colors of the color wheel, the gobo wheel with 13 static gobos and the 8- and 24-facet prisms as well as a stroboscope with a flash rate of 1 to 18 Hz, a wide range of design possibilities is available. Both prisms can rotate in both directions at the desired speed, providing dynamics. In addition, the prisms can also be used in combination. In doing so, all images can be brought into the desired sharpness via the motorized focus. By means of the integrated frost filter, a soft light can also be generated, so that the moving head is also suitable as a variable wash light. The integrated multi-color filter creates an impressive multi-color image.

The moving head features selectable 540° PAN and 270° TILT with fast and precise movements thanks to 16-bit resolution with automatic position correction.

Control

The Eurolite TMH XB-280 moving head beam can be controlled in standalone mode with master/slave function or music-timed via the integrated microphone, the sensitivity of which can be easily adjusted. In DMX mode, 16 or 19 channels are available. Addressing and setting of all functions are conveniently done via the control unit with display and operating buttons. In addition, the device is equipped with a phantom-memory USB socket for the wireless Quick DMX system from Eurolite.
