Ernie Ball EB2215 Skinny Top Heavy Bottom Slinky Guitar Strings 10-52
I use these strings for blues on a telecaster. They play nice, and I live the concept of skinny top heavy bottom. The low strings are heavy enough for a good punchy sound while playing rhythm, while the top is light enough for bending. I imagine it works really well for rock and metal as well for similar reasons.
When I use these strings I tune down half a step, and they are perfect for that! If you like a string that's a bit thicker and still bends this is perfect! :)
Im used to playing with Daddario strings and thought of giving these a try. I never thought Id feel such a difference playing... Great sound, tension and very reliable tuning-wise... Itll be my 1st choice going forward...
