Now this traditional model is available again in a classic finish and colours and thus appears with two historically correct Epiphone ProBucker mini-humbuckers, the classic "Tree or Life" headstock, goldenhardware and voluminous blues sounds, which has remained true to its typical sound character for over sixty years thanks to the proven construction with solid center block and Frequensator Tailpiece.
The slender body of the Epiphone Sheraton convinces with tonal volume and at the same time manageable lightness.
The headstock of the Epiphone Sheraton is adorned with the traditional "Tree of Life" symbol, while the 'Block & Triangle' inlays made of abalone are another traditional distinguishing feature of the Sheraton
ProBucker Mini and Gold hardware
The lavish design of the Sheraton Viper Blue is also reflected in its Hardware, which features a gold finish. The ProBucker Mini humbuckersin the neck and bridge position deliver a broad spectrum of dynamic, warm vintage sounds that can feel at home in almost any genre. Furthermore, all six strings are guided through their course from the Epiphone Frequensator tailpiece for the ideal contact pressure of the bass and treble strings on the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge to the Wilkinson tuning machines.
The classic set-neck construction ensures comfortable playing characteristics in the high registers and optimized resonance transmission.
Construction and tonewoods
The top, back and sides are made of a resonance-friendly maple laminate and, with multi-ply binding, two f-holes and the solid maple center block, form the basis for the strong sound character of the Semi-Hollow Sheraton electric guitar from Epiphone. The glued mahogany neck with its SlimTaper 60s 'C' profile offers familiar and comfortable playing characteristics, which are underlined by a fingerboard made of Indian Laurel. 22 frets provide enough space for wide licks with extensive bending, which also allows the classic block inlays with abalone triangles to come into their own.
