Traditional guitar from Epiphone
The Sheraton Semi-Hollowelectric guitar from Epiphone is not only a well-tried historical model for the Gibson subsidiary but also a Blues and rock all-rounder which has been appreciated by music greats like John Lee Hooker and Noel Gallagher for years. Now this traditional model is available again in classic finish and colours and thus appears with two historically correct Epiphone ProBuckermini humbuckers, the "tree or life" headstock, goldhardware and voluminous blues sounds which have retained their typical sound character for over 60 years due to the construction with solid centre block.
The thin sound body of the Sheraton convinces with tonal volume and at the same time handy lightness.
The Epiphone "Tree of Life" symbol on the headstock and the block inlays with triangle abalone are traditional features of the Sheraton.
ProBucker Mini and Gold hardware
The lush design of the Shraton Natural is also reflected in its Hardware, which includes gold-finished Epiphone appointments. The ProBucker Mini humbuckers in both neck and bridge positions deliver a wide range of dynamically warm vintage tones that can feel at home in just about any genre. Furthermore, all six strings are provided with Sustain and stability through their progression from the Frequensator Split bridge, to a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, to the Wilkinson tuning machines.
The Gibson and Epiphone set-neck construction provides comfortable playing characteristics and gives the woods of the Semi Hollow Sheraton further sustain.
Construction and tonewoods
The top, back and sides are made of a resonant maple laminate, and with multi-ply binding, two F-holes and the solid maple centre block, they form the basis for the strong sound character of Epiphone's Semi-Hollow Sheraton electric guitar. The glued mahogany neck features a SlimTaper 60s 'C' profile forfamiliar and comfortable playing characteristics, which are accentuated by a soft Indian Laurel fingerboard. Over 22 frets, there's enough room for wide licks with extensive bending, which also showcases the classic block inlays with triangle abalone.
