The Fanatic offers some unique features in the form of her special Slanted humbucker in the bridge position, advanced switching options and chic visual details with classic Gibson charm. On top of that, Epiphone gifts each Nancy Wilson Fanatic with a matching hardshell case from the factory!
Mahogany Nighthawk body
An absolute eye-catcher is the slim and innovative body design made of mahogany, which corresponds to Nancy's Nighthawk design of the early nineties and is finished with a two-piece curly maple veneer with binding all around. Playability, on the other hand, is provided by the mahogany neck glued by set-neck construction, which features a slim C-profile and presents a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with noble Twin Parallelogram inlays of pearloid.
The Epiphone Nancy Wilson Fanatic Fireburst is based on the innovative Nighthawk design that Nancy created in collaboration with Gibson in the early nineties.
ProBucker3 Slant & ProBucker FB720
For hot rock sounds with versatile character, the pairing of a slanted ProBucker 3 in open-coil design and a ProBucker FB720 in neck position. The former offers unique tonal characteristics due to its slanted design, while the FB720, borrowed from the Firebird, provides fiery neck tones. In addition to the common Volume and Tone controls, the Nancy Wilson Fanatic features a 5-way blade switch that activates the two dual coils selectively, alone, together, or in coil Tap mode.
